On 14^th March 2024, four year 9 pupils, Jack Donaldson, Dhairyash Sujeebun, Kara Lock and Kiera Lock, travelled up to Oxford, alongside Miss Cronin, to compete in the Oxford National Debate competition.

Since January, the team have been competing in knock-out rounds, and moved through to the semi-finals, remaining undefeated. The pupils spent two days at Oxford University, preparing and competing against 12 other schools across Wales. They prepared extremely hard for this, spending every Wednesday lunchtime practising their roles and building confidence.

All of their fantastic efforts paid off, as the pupils won the competition and brought home the trophy, beating Ysgol Bro Dinefwr in the final round. We are all extremely proud of the pupils and all of their hard work. Da iawn, team!
