We are pleased to invite you to our Year 6 Open Evening on Wednesday, 4th October 2023. The evening will be held at the current Pontypridd High School site (CF37 4SF).

There will be two sessions during the evening - one starts at 4.00pm and one starts at 5.30pm. Please use this link to book a place for you and your child at your preferred time slot - Open Evening Booking.

Following an introduction from myself and the Executive Leadership Team, you will be able to see the plans for our new school, which will benefit from an £18-million investment to create outstanding facilities for our pupils. You will also have a tour of the site and have the opportunity to meet key members of staff who will be supporting your child’s transition to Ysgol Bro Taf.

We are delighted to be working with the following partner primary schools whose Year 6 pupils are due to transfer to us next year following a change in catchment areas:

Details on how to apply to join us can be found overleaf and, due to high demand, we strongly advise that applications are submitted by the 13th October 2023 deadline. * Following the amalgamation of Cilfynydd Primary School and Pontypridd High School at the end of this academic year, parents / carers of Cilfynydd are not required to apply for a place at Ysgol Bro Taf as this will automatically be allocated to their child and the details transferred to us.
