Each subject will set the equivalent of approximately one hour of work per day. Pupils will be given the whole day and evening to complete the work with deadlines set for the following morning.

Tasks set on Class Charts will include detailed instructions and direct pupils to the appropriate digital platforms (eg. Microsoft Teams, Mathswatch, You Tube etc.) Pupils will also be given a deadline along with clear details of how to submit their work and access support if needed.

Throughout the week pupils will be given access to a range of resources to support their learning including recorded lessons and, where appropriate, live streamed lessons. Teachers will be in school throughout the week and will be able to offer support by phone call, email or using Microsoft Teams as appropriate. When pupils are invited to live lessons/check in sessions invitations will be sent to their school email account. Please note that staff will not communicate with pupils using personal email accounts. All pupils should check their school email account regularly throughout the week.

It is important to note that completing the tasks set for home learning is not optional. We expect all pupils to make every effort to complete the work to the best of their ability.

Any pupil who does not engage with home learning will be expected to complete the work in their own time (after school or at lunchtime) on their return to school. If there is any reason why work cannot be completed, please contact the appropriate Standards Manager to discuss this using the contact details below:
