Legal Apprentice Competition 2019

Pontypridd High School is thrilled to announce that 2 teams of year 12 students have entered the prestigious 'Legal Apprentice' competition 2019

The Legal Apprentice is Kingsley Napley’s legal competition, in partnership with The Times, for students in school or college in years 12 or equivalent. Year 12 pupils Alice Rees, Chloe Hayes, Thushana Suthakaran, Ellie Davis and Trudy Pounder will work as part of a team to complete a series of tasks, designed to encourage them to tap into their “inner solicitor” – using skills and logic to provide legal advice for virtual clients. The competition aims to provide students with first-hand experience of what it is like to be a solicitor. The prizes should the teams be successful include funding for studies, work experience at Kingsley Napley and a coveted legal apprenticeship with the firm. The competition starts in January 2018, good luck to all our entrants!
