I would like to congratulate each of our students who have achieved success with their ‘A’ level results. I am delighted that 35% of all grades achieved were awarded an A* or A grade and the overall pass rate of 96% at A* to E reflects positively on the overall effort and commitment of those students who were successful in completing each course.

Our Welsh Baccalaureate results are also very pleasing with every student entered gaining the Core Certificate and over 90% achieving the full Advanced Diploma.

Particular mention must be given to Head Girl Emily Pardoe and Head Boy Scott Jenkins who both succeeded in passing with grades A*AAB. Also to Natasha Hill with A*ABB, Rebecca Williams AABB, Luke Price AAB, Joshua James ABBB and Lauren Staple with AAC.

The success we have achieved as a School reflects the commitment from all students and staff and the support of each family. We thank those students who are leaving us for their contribution to our School and wish them well as they move on to new challenges beyond Pontypridd High.

Mr Peter James, Chair of Governors expressed his delight at what has been achieved and congratulates all of the students on their results in addition to thanking staff for their continued hard work and the level of support that ensures Pontypridd High School continues to provide a very successful Sixth Form provision.
