At Pontypridd High School we feel huge pride that in 2016 our pupils achieved the best GCSE results the school has ever produced, and at the same time attended school more than any other cohort of young people than ever before. This is no coincidence, and our dedication to ensuring all of our pupils achieve their potential means we won’t stop nagging about getting all of our pupils in school and in lessons.  

The school has set a minimum standard of 96% attendance. To encourage those with lower than expected attendance and reward our regular attendees, we are having an attendance ‘Mega Drive’ from the 31^st of October for two weeks. Any pupil who attends school every day for those two weeks will be entered into a prize draw and will have a chance of winning St David’s 2 vouchers, a place at a doughnut party, cinema vouchers and many other prizes!
