This was a free event organised by Careers Wales. The pupils were able to talk to so many varied employers which included construction, the armed forces, the NHS, food companies and engineering companies, to name a few. They were even able to experience positive talks by motivational speakers. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience and some pupils really impressed the staff by the confidence and initiative they displayed when asking employers questions. The freebies that were on offer of pens, bags, pencils etc and even the free sunglasses were very much appreciated. We are sure that the pupils appreciated all that the employers were trying to impress on them - that as long as they work hard in school there are so many opportunities for them both locally and nationally post 16.
