Over the past few weeks, the pupils in S7 have been working really hard painting a mural. They have spent many lessons looking at Welsh artists and images associated with Wales, finally coming up with a finished design that they believe sums up the history and area around Pontypridd. The pupils decided to place the dragon and the bridge in the centre of the design as they felt it best reflected their home town. They worked collaboratively, painting each section carefully and with a great deal of skill. The pupils have worked extremely hard producing a finished painting that is colourful and exciting. They should be well pleased with the outcome. Mr Condon, who regularly comes to visit the class was “blown away” by the quality of the work.
