Pontypridd High Schools Construction Department along with staff from Ty-Gwyn Education Centre, (our satellite centre) and partnership working with staff from Jehu Construction attended a two day training event at Ty Mawr Lime in Brecon. This course was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The team experienced practical skills in Dry Stone Walling and Lime render and Plastering. The group used tools and materials that were used in Pre 19 – 19 Buildings. This was an amazing experience for us all, bringing the past back to the future.
