Governors Wales are the regulatory body who administer and assess the work of governing bodies when they award accreditation under their Bronze Award Scheme. In order to achieve the award a portfolio of evidence had to be presented to Governors Wales. The portfolio contained numerous papers including, reports, minutes of meetings, Head Teacher reports, Governors training, policy development etc. It took approx. 4 months to put the file together for submission. In presenting the award, Governors Wales have accepted that the evidence shows that Pontypridd High School Governing Body are working to a high standard which is efficient and effective  both in terms of its statutory requirements and in areas of good practice.
