On Friday 20th June, 52 Year 8 pupils attended a mathematics enrichment trip to Techniquest Cardiff Bay. As well as being able to explore the wonderful exhibits and learn some fascinating mathematics facts, pupils also attended a “Mathemagic” exhibition. Here the pupils learned about mathematics through magic and how mathematics can be used in everyday life to help us solve problems and confuse our friends! Pupils also took part in a variety of other activities which involved solving problems using their mathematical knowledge. A big thank you to all staff who attended who no doubt also had a fantastic time.
