Dear parent / carer

My thanks for the support this week on reopening our school after 15 weeks of closure. I understand the reasons and appreciate that not everyone has returned but I believe it has been a very positive experience for those who have.

Now we have reopened our school and are working with the new guidance on hygiene and social distancing we have a good foundation from which to think about September. At present, there has been no formal guidance about how we will start in September in Wales. However, it is clear that by then there will be a large number of our children who have not been in school since March and so a period of ‘transition’ back into school will certainly be appropriate for every year group. We are working with the Local Authority on this and I will confirm the arrangements as soon as I can.
