Pontypridd High School has had another fantastic academic year and the annual Awards Ceremony was evidence of this achievement. Thursday night was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the hard work and talent of our students, which everyone enjoyed. The cabaret – style seating, combined with Mr Bracey’s interesting subject music choices, made for a fun experience for students and parents alike. We were privileged to receive to receive Mr Owen Smith, MP for Pontypridd and fellow of the previous Coed - y - Lan Comprehensive, as our guest speaker. His speech about his experiences was truly inspiring and we should all remember its message, to work hard and take life’s opportunities. Congratulations to all those who won an award, and those who were nominated, especially to Simon Humphries, who won the Outstanding Achievement Award.
