Congratulations to Two Young Ambassadors from PHS who took part in our Queen's Baton Relay event in Pontypridd on September 6th.

The Queen's Baton Relay is a prestigious event which acts as the curtain raiser for the Commonwealth Games.

Chloe Jordan
Platinum Young Ambassador – Pontypridd High

As well as being a Platinum Young Ambassador for RCT Chloe is a Gold Young Ambassador for Hockey Wales. She is an active member of the National Leadership Academy, the Hockey Wales Youth Panel, the European Hockey Federation Youth Panel and the Disability Sport Wales National Youth Board. Through all of these roles, Chloe works to increase participation in sport and encourage others to volunteer. Chloe also plays hockey for Wales U18's.

Ffion Davies
Gold Young Ambassador - Pontypridd High
Ffion works alongside the Platinum Young Ambassador to support the 5x60 Officer with lunchtime and after school activities. Last year Ffion was involved with the planning and delivery of a Rush Hockey Tournament for local primary schools.
