Students at Pontypridd High School are currently gathering information in order to make a film about the mining disaster of 1894 which happened here on the school site, formerly the Albion Colliery.

We are looking to find people in and around the Cilfynydd community who have ancestors that were involved in the disaster and who may have some information or stories to tell that have been passed down through the generations. If you are able to help and have any information that you think would contribute to the film please contact the school, we would love to hear from you.
